Deborah tells her story of dressing as a man and fighting during the Revolutionary War.  Based on primary sources, this story brings to life the tribulations a woman would have concealing her identity while living and fighting alongside an army of men.  Deborah tells of the battles and times she was injured.

This 1st person story is of Emma Edmonds, a Canadian woman who dressed as a man for two years during the Civil War fighting with the 2nd Michigan Regiment.  Emma tells of her adventures and losses as a soldier, field nurse, and spy.  This is an intense concert.
